We are an independent family owned store, with a personal touch. All of us have a life long love of animals. We enjoy working with animals & love matching people with pets. Our puppies are carefully chosen by our owners who have over 19 years experience. The overwhelming majority of our pets come from trusted people that we have known between 10-19 years. Our pet shop is not ahigh volume "puppy store". At Critters we believe puppies are special. They really become part of the family. While they are here they are socialized, loved and exercised throughout the day. We always feed our puppies premium foods. All of our puppies are up to date on their shots & wormings and sold with a written guarantee and a free vet exam. We love our critters.

"Critters Pet Shop" Celebrating 19 Years
Valentines Day of 1988 was our first day in business as owners of "Critters Pet Shop". Originally, the store was located in downtown St. Charles across from the fire station and owned by a fireman. Then, it was purchased by a school teacher and called "Linda's Little Critters". Critters is one of the oldest independent pet shops in the area. The Janczak Family thanks you for shopping and supporting this independent family owned business. Critters are a lifelong passion of ours.
