We are an independent family owned store, with a personal touch. All of us have a life long love of animals. We enjoy working with animals and love matching people with pets.
Our pets are carefully selected by the owners from trusted people that we have personally known for up to 25 years. Plus, we are a state licensed rescue so we are happy to offer many rescued dogs, cats, bunnies, reptiles and more.
At Critters we believe pets are special. They really become part of the family. Our pet shop is not a high volume "corporate store". While pets are here they are socialized, loved and exercised throughout the day. Our goal is to be a different kind of pet store, one that supports community and pets. To be socially responsible and offer rescue pets of all species as much as possible.
Our hope is that you will spread the word by telling your friends about our unique pet store. Support us and our rescue by coming to our store for your pet supplies and food and to adopt your next pet too!
We offer a full line aquatics department. Our fish room features over 2000 gallons of tanks with tropical fish. We have decades of fish keeping experience and offer professional aquarium set-up and maintenance by appointment.
We are proud of our small animal department and have become well known for our selection of adorable bunnies, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and other exotic pets. We even special order.
We offer a full reptile department with top quality herps such as snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions, frogs, newts, turtles and more.
We only feed and recommend premium foods and strive to carry a large selection of All American Made natural dog and cat foods, healthy treats and supplies. We research the brands we sell by attending seminars and continuing education. Plus, one of the owners works as a representative for a Natural Pet Food company. We offer everything from traditional healthy brands of kibble, grain free options and even frozen raw foods and species-appropriate diets for that happy little carnivore that lives in your household.
